Garbage and Recyclable Pickup
Place garbage curbside Monday evening for Tuesday morning pickup as well as Thursday evening for Friday morning pickup.
Recyclables should be placed curbside by 6:00 a.m. on Thursday mornings. Our community now has pickup on every other Thursday. Recyclables will no longer be picked up weekly. Recyclables no longer need to be separated. Everything may just be put in your upright blue recycle cans. If a Thursday pickup is on a holiday then the recyclables will be picked up the following day, Friday. Code Enforcement Information
The city of Frederick has seen an increase in the past several years in the number of properties that have converted basements, attics, and garages into illegal bedrooms, kitchens, and bathrooms. Unfortunately, many of these convered spaces have been constructed without proper permits and considersation of health, safety, and welfare of the occupants.
The Department of Code Enforcement is trying to alert homeowners and tenants of the implications of these illegal conversions. Any violations found on a property are the responsibility of the property owner to correct and bring into compliance.

Housing Addition Guidelines
You must submit an application to Chrisse Hassett, Clagett Management, for Walnut Ridge HOA for any architectural changes to your property. These include, but are not limited to, decks, fences, patios, porches, pergolas, storage sheds, swing sets, etc. You may review the guidelines for such architectural changes in your Walnut Ridge Homeowner's Association book. These guidelines will be on the website shortly along with the required application.
